Split CD featuring 2 tracks by the black/thrash outfit Depraver, and 3 tracks by death metal group Vrenth, both out of good 'ol California USA. The Depraver tracks feature an old-school black/thrash assault complete with catchy, headbanging riffs, growled vocals, and big guitar solos. The Vrenth side sees a more straight-forward death metal approach, full of blasts, tremolo picked riffs, and deep guttural vocals. The split maintains a pretty cohesive atmosphere considering the differing styles, and is a great introduction to both bands.
