Debut full-length album by the New Jersey one-man (slightly blackened) death metal project Engulf. Ample blasting and angular riffs show some Morbid Angel influence, while the more avant-garde choices point towards Gorguts. Very impressive song writing and album overall- and a clear step up from the previous EP releases - I think we will hear plenty of talk about Engulf in the coming years.
