The California solo project Leather Glove's debut full-length Perpetual Animation, along with the 3 tracks from the demo release Skin on Glass. Adding up to 42 minutes, this is a beautiful combination of death metal savagery and oozing sludgy doom. Greg Wilkinson sports an incredible résumé, including stints in bands such as Autopsy, Static Abyss, Deathgrave, Graves at Sea, and even playing live with Undergang. This solo project takes some of the best of what each of those bands has to offer and fleshes it out into something utterly unique.
