Martyrdoom - As Torment Prevails - CD

The Polish death/doom quartet return with their second full-length, As Torment Prevails. Presumably named for the opening track on Dead Congregation's debut, these guys have managed to forge their own sound firmly rooted in old school death metal with a healthy dose of doom mixed in for good measure. Heavy, dark, and melodic riffs set the stage for some incredible vocals over 8 original tracks, closing out with a terrific cover of Autopsy's In the Grip of Winter
