The debut EP by Germany's most evil death/doom band, released in 2007 after a few years of demos, splits, and an EP release. This album (as with most of their catalog) is some of the darkest, wicked, and intense occult death/doom out there. Utilizing plenty of brief interludes of acoustic passages, spoken word segments, and organ music to build an eerie atmosphere, the setup for the songs proper goes far in separating the band from other so-called occultists. The songs themselves are some of the best death/doom around, and you would be quite remiss to overlook this gem.
