Olkoth - At the Eye of Chaos - LP

The debut full-length by the South Carolinian blackened death group Olkoth. Quite impressive for a first album, Olkoth present a massive soundscape featuring plenty of speed and technicality. Unrelenting but very multi-dimensional, the frenzied playing is an assault on the eardrums, but the excellent production allows every note to cut through the mix. Huge and blasphemous along the lines of Hate Eternal or Morbid Angel - definitely looking forward to more from these guys.
