The newest EP by Spain's death/funeral doomsters Trollcave, on 12", transparent dark blue vinyl. EP may be a bit of a misnomer here, considering a runtime over half an hour, featuring 2 grand and sinister tracks. Reeking, rotting, and grotesque, Trollcave take you on a journey through desolate, gloomy cosmos, introducing a side of death/doom not often explored. Following a tense and unnerving intro, thunderous drums and massive riffs move the sound into a rhythmic sludge, setting the stage for the dripping, gurgling vocals, only to launch into pulverizing blast beats and tremolo picked death. An excellent addition to Trollcave's short but sweet resume.
