Fast, blasting, brutal debut by the Russian lunatics Catacomb Abscess. Grinding HM-2 style riffs over chaotic drumming and vomited vocals, these guys launched out of the gate and went straight for the throat. A couple covers of songs by Regurgitate and Dead Infection shine a light on the influences, while twisting, mid-pace death metal sections offer a reprise from the goregrind madness. Certainly not one for the faint of heart.
